What is a Case Competition?
A case competition is designed to give students a real-world consulting experience. Teams of 3 students compete to find the best solution to the business-related case study within an allocated time frame.
The event begins with the kickoff, where the company introduces the case and presents the problem in front of the students. Within the one-week time frame, teams will have equal opportunities to research and compile a solution. The presentation will be evaluated by company judges and professors based on applicability of the solution, logical thinking, and delivery of the presentation. The top 3-4 teams will proceed to the final round, and the top 2 teams will be awarded cash prizes.
Case competitions are excellent opportunities for students to network with employers, analyze cases, and polish their presentation skills.
